This monitor has several great features–my favorite is the ability to communicate from the parent’s unit to the baby’s unit. The sound clarity is great and it is small and portable. However, the thing crackles all the time! Our baby is just in the next room–literally on the other side of the wall, so it’s not out of range. It also cuts out at least every 4 or 5 minutes. Sometimes it’s out of communication for several seconds at a time. Occasionally, it cuts out for longer and I have to move or shake it to get the sound back. It is especially crackley when I’m running the dishwasher, the washing machine, the microwave, etc. So annoyed. Read more...
