I am a new Mom and found the initial experience pretty overwhelming, needing to track how long it had been since the last feeding, nap, diaper change, etc. Then I bought the Itsbeen timer and a stress was lifted from me instantly. When the baby is fussy, I check the timer, and if it’s been two hours since the baby’s last feeding I know that may be the reason he is fussy. If it’s been only an hour, I know it isn’t food related and continue down the checklist of diaper change, wanting a cuddle, wanting a pacifier, etc. to try to sooth him. There is even a little switch at the bottom of the timer to indicate which breast (right or left) the baby fed from. I use the asterix marked button for when I last used the breastpump, though it could be used to track anything. This is a count-up timer, not a count-down timer. The timer does not show seconds only minutes: this confused me initially when I pushed the buttons expecting to see instant feedback of seconds incrementing, until I realized there were no seconds displayed, and that the timer was in fact counting.
